Bangladesh VS Pakistan Match Tied

The last group stage match between Pakistan and Bangladesh resulted in tied. At this Pakistan stands in the top of the chart and Bangladesh finishes their group stage in the fourth. In the 1st semi final Bangladesh will face Srilanka on 1st April which will be held in Chowdhury Zahur Ahmed Stadium in Chittagong.

Earlier on the day, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. But their batsman could not respond well. They fell in a spot of bother as they lost their four wickets on 35 only. But on the fifth wicket Hammad Azam and Harris Sohail did the rebuilding job adding 86 runs.

Finally Pakistan finished their innings on 233/8 after 50 over. Saif became the most successful bowler for Bangladesh taking 3 wickets for 54 runs.

In reply, Bangladesh also lost their first wickets very early. They lost Saif on 10. They lost their second wicket on 12. Then the third wicket partnership between the skipper Mominul and Shanto rescue them from losing their way. But at one stage,they became 73/5.

But the skipper stood tall scoring 73 and the support was given from the other side by wicket keeper batsman Mithun who scored 53.

The 9th wicket partnership of 12 almost sealed the victory but fell 1 run short in the end. Thus, the match remain tied.
